2 months of blogcation was excessively enough, I'm writing a post again!
Let's talk about how my summer was because I can't pretend as if the summer didn't exist on my blog...
━
I feel like I've never written a blog post before, simply don't know what to talk about first. Maybe this is a side effect of leaving my cozy internet attic. All the vocabularies got rambled even though I've only typed 3 sentences here...
First of all, I should travel back to the first week of my summer break. My first college sem break started as I went on the college website to check my grade.
I went almost hysterical, and it was 8 am. Then, as if nothing had happened, I went to my part time job place which I worked on all weekdays for two months straight.
It already sounds like tragic summer break, but hey, it's me!
I never planned to let my vacation flow away towards September. Several 'events' in between had saved me from the repetition of home & work.
As I promised on the last post, I captured all those things from my summer, and duh, I can't move on to my next blog post idea if I don't share them on here!
I was somehow able to organize the photos in chronological order, so this post would be a great time capsule of my summer 2016! *highfive myself*
Seoul Museum of Art's DreamWorks Animation Exhibition.
Despite the tiredness after the part time job, this exhibit was full of adorableness, ideas, colors, crazy graphic technologies, and inspiration.
Summer can't be complete without music festivals.
I went to the Heineken 5tardium which presents five different stages with DJs. It's not only with music, but also with amazing performances & fireworks.
My friend and I were able to enjoy 4 stages - Wiwek, Loudpvck, Ummet Ozcan, and Tommy Trash.
Leaving that day's footage wasn't easy and I ended up not feeling my legs and throat, but we decided to get another tickets for 2017 because this festival was definitely worth our money.
You got to have a chill day after crazy festival.
My family and I went on a little picnic to the riverside. Of course takeout dinner, straw hat, and favorite music playlist are essential!
Besides, I had such a grateful experience as an assistant teacher of the art program held in one library in Seoul. It was my very first time to be a 'teacher' in art program, and this had frightened me especially the night before d-day.Well, fear of the kids I'd never met was like 90%.
HOWEVER, it went quite great and little ones didn't really hate me!
Proof #1. They called me 'teacher'.
Proof #2. They did what they needed to do even though it wasn't their will to participate in that program.
Proof #3. They gave me a hug on the last day.
I hope I would have another chance to be a part of this kind of events, I wanna do better.
Yesssssssssssss Another festival
This time with my sister, to one of the biggest music festivals in Korea- Valley Rock!
I still get excited with the name itself. It was one of my favorite days of my life, and you'll see why.
Troye Sivan.
I finally heard him live, he was just...(inserts all the beautiful vocabs here)
40 minutes literally felt like 4 minutes, I'm 100% sure everyone there felt the same.
Birdy.
She's sooooo talented, her live singing voice wins her own recorded album voice.
Very luckily, it didn't rain on Day 2 at Valley Rock. (It's known as the festival that rains every year!)
The highlight of the day was Zedd.
His music and all the effects were like concoction of the coolest things on the planet. I'm soooooo grateful to spend a day there and not lose anything which I casually do on daily basis.
Insane amount of good food I had this summer made me weigh the heaviest I've ever been in my entire life. But no regrets, they were DELICIOUS.
Sushi rice bowl, frozen yogurts, noodles, iced coffee & bobba tea, more icecream, late night snacks & drinks...Happiness over fats!
On the edge of this summer, my family and I moved to our new home. Five of us had worked really hard on crazy hot summer days to carry all the boxes, wrap & unwrap endless stuffs, and make it look like a liveable place.
We're now happy to be in our new home!(but my sisters and I crave more house decors)
Whoa! This was my overall summer summary. After this summer, I'm back in college, struggling to survive even crazier 2nd sem, still doing my part time job on the weekends, going to swimming lessons twice a week, and tons more.
I'm definitely coming back to my blog cause I realized how much I've been missing this as this post completes. Lastly, I hope this fall would be as lovely as this summer I had <3
